Robotech was founded in November 1988, in the city of Ina, Nagano, as the exclusive overseas distributor of factory automation machines, parts feeders and automation components manufactured by Machine Engineering Corporation and Daishin, both of them having a long experience in the field and having also a great deal of leading manufacturing companies in Japan as their customers.
Not long after Robotech was founded, in June 1989, our agent in Korea was established. In the same year, our agents in Taiwan started promoting our parts feeders and factory automation components. There still was a lot of work to do...
In the year of 1992, Robotech moved to Tokyo and started promoting in the Japanese domestic market, too. Not only that, but also began exporting electronics components to Korea. Robotech was getting bigger...!
Starting 1994, our agent in Singapore was established, covering Malaysia as well as the Singapore market. Later that year, the Benelux market was also covered by establishing our agent in Holland. Not only that, but in 1995 our agent in Germany also joined our business.
In 1996, two companies in the United States joined this working team, sharing the work of promoting automation systems and components, bringing the Japanese technology to America.
Up to now, Robotech is still working hard to keep on growing and giving our customers what they need: good quality and the best support. The world changes everyday, and Robotech is heading for these changes, too. Even after reaching one of our goals, we will be working to reach our next. Yes, we still believe that even now there is a lot of things to do...
